Why don't all alcoholic drinks look like this?

I like frozen blueberries and I like cold water. I have found that the two go well together in a glass. When you pour frozen blueberries into a glass of water, you'll find they float together at the top until their icy centers melt enough to sink (basic physics).
If you think that sounds weird, it's only the start of it.


On Sunday, I figured it would be better if I sweetened it. I could have used sugar (or even Splenda), but I instead settled on honey. Interestingly, the blueberry-iceberg sunk with the weight of the honey on top. I thought, "Well, that's cool. What else can I add?"

My answer was strawberry-flavored syrup.
